I started this blog to share my love for Sade, and to show how much of an impact she's had on me stylistically and musically as a musician. I am so happy that she's come back on tour to share her music and i'm looking forward to meeting and networking with other fans and musicians, with the ultimate goal of letting Sade and the band know how much of an impact they've had on my life.

BIO:
Andre "SaxManDre" Cotman, is a Jazz Saxophonist and life-long fan of Sade and her band's music. Andre has been playing the sax now for over 20 years, since grade school. Based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, Andre' plays 3 saxophones (Alto, Tenor, and Soprano) and plays a variety of Jazz music (new and old) in addition to covers of Sade Songs.
In addition to Sade's music and Jazz, Andre also plays R&B, Jazz, Rock, Electronic, Christian Music and a variety of other styles where the music sounds good! In the past, Andre' has opened up for hits such as Vicki Winans and Fred Hammond in the past.

Biggest Influences on Saxophone Style:
Sade --- Sade isn't a saxophonist but her smooth music and emotion filled voice shaped the music that I gravitate to in playing. This is why Sade has been such a large impact on my music.
Boney James - The man's playing is just smooth, and we have similar styles... :-D Big fan!
